Job Duties:
- Create precise SystemC/TLM software models for CPUs (including ARM and RISC-V architectures) and additional hardware components suitable for constructing Virtual Platforms.
- Validate model functionality against behavioral models and/or RTL using SystemC and/or UVM/SystemVerilog, conducting unit testing and debugging as per the test plan.
- Construct Virtual Platforms for hardware designs at the system level. Initialize/Boot Linux/Mentor Embedded Linux (MEL)/Android on the Virtual Platform. Simulate and troubleshoot customer software on the Virtual Platform.
- Craft comprehensive Functional Specifications and Design Documents to ensure clarity and professionalism in documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree, or equivalent experience in Computer or Electrical Engineering [with a minimum Very Good with honors degree].
- Extensive proficiency in C/C++ Programming and Embedded Linux Development.
- Desirable familiarity with digital circuits and digital design/systems, along with a solid background in programming using SystemC.
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Linux/Unix OS and scripting/scripting languages like Make, Tcl, or Perl.
- The role necessitates strong written and oral communication abilities, along with the capacity to operate effectively within tight deadlines and adhere to schedules.
