- Posts are categorized into Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ under various Ministries, Departments, and Organizations of the Government of India.
- Pay levels range from Level-4 (₹25,500 to ₹81,100) to Level-7 (₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400).
- Various positions include Assistant Section Officer, Inspector of Income Tax, Sub Inspector, Auditor, Accountant, and more.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent for most posts. Specific qualifications like Statistics for Statistical Investigator Grade-II and additional requirements for certain posts as mentioned.
- Candidates appearing for their final year exams can also apply but must possess the required qualification by 01-08-2024.
- Degrees obtained through Open and Distance Learning mode must be recognized by Distance Education Bureau, University Grants Commission.
Application Process:
- Applications must be submitted online only through the SSC website (https://ssc.gov.in).
- Candidates need to first register on the new SSC website if they haven’t already done so.
- A fee of ₹100/- is applicable, except for women candidates and those belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen categories.
- Fee payment can be made online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Debit/Credit cards.
- Candidates are advised to submit their applications well before the closing date to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
Fee Details:
- ₹100/- for General/OBC candidates.
- No fee for women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen categories.
- Fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other examination.
